Quiet in Sunday's rout

Carr completed 21 of 27 passes for 241 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 38-20 win over the Texans.

Analysis: He also lost a yard on three carries. While the Raiders posted a season high in points, most of the damage came from Josh Jacobs (three touchdowns) and the defense (a 73-yard interception return for a TD by Duron Harmon), leaving Carr with little to do other than be a game manager. It's only the second time in six games he hasn't tossed multiple TDs, but Carr might need to be a little more productive in what could be a wild Week 8 clash with the Saints.

Two touchdowns against Chiefs

Carr completed 19 of his 30 passes for 241 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Monday's 30-29 loss to the Chiefs.

Analysis: Carr accounted for the majority of his production on two plays, passing scores of 58 and 48 yards to Davante Adams. He was fairly quiet in his production otherwise, with Josh Jacobs instead leading the Raiders' offense for long stretches of the game. Carr now has at least two touchdowns and 240 passing yards in four of five games this season and is in the midst of another solid statistical season.

Stifled in win over Denver

Carr completed 21 of 34 passes for 188 yards without a touchdown or interception in Sunday's 32-23 win over the Broncos. He added 40 rushing yards on seven carries.

Analysis: It's the first time this season Carr has failed to reach 250 passing yards or toss a TD, but he was able to lean on a huge performance from Josh Jacobs and the Raiders' first defensive touchdown since 2019 to secure the team's first win of 2022. He'll likely need to be a lot more productive in Week 5, as Las Vegas travels to Kansas City for a clash with Patrick Mahomes.

Tops 300 yards

Carr completed 26 of 44 passes for 303 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 24-22 loss to the Titans.

Analysis: Carr benefitted from game script and was forced to take to the air 44 times as the Raiders attempted to work back from a multi-score deficit. He spread targets around for the most part evenly to his pass catchers, though he showed surprising rapport with Mack Hollins -- highlighted by a nine-yard touchdown pass late in the fourth quarter. Carr has at least 250 passing yards and two touchdowns in all three games this season, providing a relatively safe fantasy floor.

Modestly productive

Carr completed 24 of 39 pass attempts for 251 yards and two touchdowns in an overtime loss to the Cardinals on Sunday.

Analysis: Carr could have done better against this vulnerable pass defense, but disappointing or not, the box score should be fine for most fantasy investors. The problem is Carr's Week 3 matchup with the Titans might feature a more fundamentally sound defense, and if Carr can't tighten things up, he might find that a challenging matchup. The good news is the Raiders improved their pass blocking a bit in Week 2, allowing just five hits and one sack on Carr.

Throws three picks Sunday

Carr completed 22 of 37 pass attempts for 295 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions in a loss against the Chargers on Sunday.

Analysis: The Chargers defense clobbered Carr all day, sacking him six times and hitting him nine times even though the Raiders weren't really attacking all that far downfield. Carr was perhaps overly dependent on Davante Adams, who claimed 17 of Carr's 35 targeted passes, and second-leading pass catcher Darren Waller (four catches for 79 yards on six targets) didn't do much until the fourth quarter. Carr and the Raiders will face Arizona in Week 2.

Not dressed for Saturday's game

Analysis: The Raiders seemed to have things well in hand when they took a 16-3 lead into halftime, but Carr couldn't get anything going in the second half as the team ultimately lost its final game in Oakland. The passing yards were actually his highest total since Week 11, and Carr could struggle to be even that productive in next Sunday's road game against a Chargers' defense that held him to 218 yards and one TD in their prior meeting this season.

Analysis: One of the two picks was returned for a TD by Juan Thornhill, so Carr produced as many points for the opposition as he did for his own team. Analysis: Carr was quite effective as a passer, completing 86 percent of his passes while averaging an impressive 10.1 yards per attempt. He came within a yard of his season high in passing yardage, while his multi-touchdown effort was his sixth in the last eight contests. Carr has thrived in favorable matchups this season and will look to do so again next Sunday against the Jets.

Solid, mistake-free in win

Carr completed 21 of 31 passes for 218 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions in the Raiders' 26-24 win over the Chargers on Thursday. He also rushed once for four yards.

Analysis: Carr did an exemplary job managing the game, and he recorded a touchdown pass for the fourth straight contest when he connected on a nine-yard toss to Alec Ingold as the first half wound down. He then helped lead a pivotal and game-winning 10-play, 75-yard drive late in the fourth quarter that culminated in an 18-yard Josh Jacobs touchdown run.
